Join Us for a Day of Grapes, Wine & Fun!

The Value of Wine-Tasting Friends for Health and Sisterhood

🍇🍷

There’s something special about gathering with friends over a glass of wine. It’s not just about savoring the rich flavors of the grapes or admiring the artistry of winemaking—it’s about the connections formed around the table or in this case, the vineyard lawn. Wine-tasting friendships hold a unique value that nourishes both body and soul, fostering health, sisterhood, and joy.

This is about “Self Care”  No business cards, No Formal attire, No power points, just nature, organic wine, fresh air, autumn leaves, sweaters and laughter.  And yes, there will be great photo shoot opportunities! Girls in a pickup always make for great conversations! So grab your cozy sweatshirt, bring a lawn chair or just opt to sit on a bale of hay to enjoy wine drinking and pizza eating.  Yup we will have gluten free too!

Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just love a good time, this event is all about sipping, savoring, and sharing great moments!

Dress comfortably and come ready to enjoy the day!

I can’t wait to share this beautiful day with you. Cheers to wine, friends, and fabulous memories! 🥂

I had such a great experience At Farrm Vineyard I wanted others to enjoy the informal, laid-back atmosphere. Rex the owner is an Army Veteran, who isn’t going to explain the scents nor describe what flavors you be tasting. He says you either like or you don’t!  I found his story fascinating and when he showed me the vineyard, I said I know a bunch of ladies who would love to get into the actual Harvest, so ladies don’t let me down Join me for a fun filled day.

Every bottle of wine has a story.

Farrm Wine was created by Rex and Connie Farr practicing organic/biodynamic farming methods. No chemicals have been used on the farm since 1985. They became the first certified organic/biodynamic farm (1990) on Long Island. The farm produces herbs, small fruits, and organic vegetables of 50-60 different varieties.

The vineyard was planted in 2005, with four varieties of Bordeaux grapes; 8.5 acres of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot.

The first wines were made from the 2012 harvest and then only two bottles were made; Farrm Reserve and Farrm Rosé. Our wines reflect the quintessential “terroir”, the taste of North Fork of Long Island, NY.

Our production methods follow the principles of Rudolf Steiner, Biodynamics is the PHD of organics. Understanding the relationship between the moon and the tides might help understanding some of these principles.

From pruning to harvest, 220 days, 25 jobs, and a lot of luck. We hope to harvest roughly 3 tons an acre.

Hand picked at their peak of ripeness, the grapes are then taken to our wine maker where the process of de-stemming, maceration, fermenting and eventually bottling will take place.
